I believe this is where my family begin. John Keith and J. Swain owned land together in Talladega Co. On 1850 census Talladega Co. J. Swain born 1798, M. A. Swain (wife) born 1807, J. W. Swain born 1840, R. T. Swain born 1844, and H. C. Swain born 1846.
