George Wiggins, Confederate Vet, Is Dead At Webb.

George M. Wiggins, 88, Confederate veteran and pioneer citizen of Southeast Alabama, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D.J. Givens, at Webb yesterday. Mr. Wiggins had been in poor health for some time. Besides Mrs. D.J. Givens, Mr. Wiggins is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. John Wilkinson of Thomaston, GA, and Mrs. Claudia Stewart of Cottonwood, Alabama, and one son, H.O. Wiggins of Webb. Funeral was to be held at 2:30 PM today at Bluff Springs Church with the Rev. William Martin officiating. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery. Fellows and Forrester in charge.
