I am searching for my grandfather who is James Edmond PARKER. He was born in Henry County, Alabama around 1866. He is buried in an unmarked grave in Shorterville, Alabama. Do not know his exact date of birth or date of death.

Any information would be appreciated on the marriage or family of Peter SOLOMON. Peter was born 1/25/1856 in Henry Co., AL and died in Lancaster, TX. He is included in the 1870 federal census for Skipperville, Dale Co., AL at the age of 14. Peter's parents were Henry Franklin SOLOMON (b. 2/28/1830, d. 9/13/1867) and Berthenia STEWART SOLOMON (b. 3/21/1831, d. 8/15/1914). He was married on 10/16/1879 to J. W. MILLS and they had one boy by the name of Henry SOLOMON. Would appreciate any information on any of these individuals but particularly on the marriage of Peter SOLOMON and J.W. Allen HAM, b. circa 1804 in SC., m. Millie WEBB (b. circa 1808 in GA) on 21 Dec 1823 in Henry Co AL. Appears on the Henry Co census from 1840- 1880. Allen and Millie had 12 (or more) children. Any info on descendants or parents of Allen & Millie is appreciated.

Feb 1855, (2) George b. circa 1858, (3) Nancy b. circa 1860, (4) Ailcy b. circa 1862, and (5) Fanny b. circa 1863. Huey d. 09 Jan 1863 in Montgomery Co AL during his service inthe Civil War. Matilda then m. Soloman WILLIAMS (b. Apr 1849 in AL) on 24 Feb 1867 in Barbour Co AL. Children of Soloman and Matilda: (1) John Warren b. 12 Jan 1868, (2) Lina L. b. circa 1870, (3) Callie D. b. circa 1873, (4) Robert E. b. circa 1876, and (5) Suffronia b. circa 1877. Any info on descendants of Huey and Matilda or of Soloman and Matilda is appreciated.

Would like to share info with anyone researching Allen and Mary (GOODSON) FORT who lived in Henry County, AL as early as 1835. Their daughter Sarah FORT married a Daniel WARD. According to 1840 census, they had a daughter whom I have not located yet. Son Albert Thomas FORT married a Harriet. I would love to know her maiden name. Son Danial Isaiah FORT married Elinor BAKER. Who were her parents?

Any information on John D. ODOM and Emma LOVE. Married 1883 in Ga. John D. ODOM remarried in 1891 while Emma was still alive to Ssmantha Marcilla HARRISON ODOM. in Henry Co, Al. How was this possible? There is no record of a divorce. He used the name Davis ODOM when he married Emma LOVE. These people were my ggrandparents.
