Magirt IVY (b. bet 1790 and 1800) resided in Henry CO, AL, during the 1830 US Census. He moved to Hunt CO, TX by 1845. I am attempting to trace the family of my g-grandfather, Benjamin Franklin IVY (b. 1837 in AL, d. 1925 in Travis CO, TX) and believe that Magirt (aka Girt) IVY may have been a relative. Any help would be gratly appreciated

ANSLEY, ASHLEY, THOMAS posted by Mona D. RAY on Thursday, August 21, 1997

Elijah W. THOMAS married Ann ANSLEY in Henry Co, 1870, and they are there in the 1870 census. Where is he in 1860? Ann is then living in Henry with her mother, Harriet ANSLEY (looks like ASHLEY on census) and next to them is Caroline THOMAS, the sister of Elijah. Will an ANSLEY researcher please check their Henry records for THOMAS?

GRANGER, GREY, GUY, HALL, PRIDGEON posted by Ron Hall on Monday, September 8, 1997

John Thomas HALL Sr. (1868-1920) and Ella Jane GRANGER (1875-1950) were married in July, 1891, in what then would have beeen Henry County. Both are buried at the Clayton(?) Church of Christ in Houston County. John Thomas' father may have been named Daniel Hall though I've yet to make any definite connection. I've two conflicting sources for the parents of Ella. They may have been John Jenkins Granger and Elizabeth PRIDGEON or John Willis Granger and Elizabeth GUY (or GREY?). John Thomas and Ella had a number of children, including: Dora, John McKinley (Mack), Victoria, Curtis Lee, Vera Mae, Lizzie, Mattie, and John Thomas Jr. Would like to learn more about the parents and siblings, if any, of John Thomas and Ella.
