MEADOWS: Seeking information on Micage MEADOWS. He married Jane HAMM. Micage was born in Wales. He had children born in Mississippi during the 1850's and 60's. We strongly believe that he came to Mississippi from Henry County, Alabama.

Looking for information on the following family. James PARRAMORE b- 1797 Ga, d- 1875 Henry Co, Al. Would like to find the cemetery he is buried in. His wife's name was Mary. Need her maiden name. They were in Randolph Co, Ga in 1850 and in Henry Co, Al 1860. They has six children, William, James m- Elizabeth Tate, Jane m- James Hathcock, Christopher, John H., Eglantine m- a Holladay,Mary m- David M. Young. Would appreciate any help on all these people.

Searching descendants of John R.L.GRICE who came to Henry County in the late 1860's. Children from his first wife Sarah Maria KINCEY were George P., Charles Benjamin, Benjamin Gary, Anna and Queen Ann. He married Jemimia Benjamin KINCEY on October 25, 1870 in Henry County. They had 8 children. Their names were:Robert L.,Fannie G.,Essie,Eva,Ralph Mabel Claire(Mae),Richard(Dick) and Stephen. Also looking for descendants of Lewis Washington NORDAN. He married Rhoda Elizabeth Odom AYRES and their children were: Lula Clifford NORDAN, John Morgan NORDAN, Charles Jackson NORDAN, Walter Lewis NORDAN, Emma Elizabeth NORDAN, Bailey NORDAN, Robert NORDAN, and John W. NORDAN.

Seeking info. on my GGgrandfather, Phillip Alfred MCDANIEL, who removed from Ga. in 1838 or1840 to Texasville, Henry Co. My Ggrandfather William Walker McDANIEL bought his fathers farm in 1869, Phillip Alfred, then bought a farm near Columbia, Barbour Co. until his death in 1888, where he and his wife Jane Elizabeth Walker and a son that was killed at Chancellorsville while serving with Cobbs Legion Inf. Ga. CSA. William Walker McDANIEL, also served in Cobbs Legion Inf, Co. B and was at Chancellorville when his younger brother John George McDANIEL was killed. William was elected 1st Lt. in 1861 and rose to Major. William Walker McDANIEL died 1892 at his home in Texasville and is buried in the Methodist Cem. in Clopton, Dale Co. Ala. I would very much like to learn the history of Texasville, the people, also of Columbia, are there any McDANIELs still in these areas or decendents. Also would like to know if the graves of Phillip Alfred, his wife and sons still exsist as! I do not know what Cem. they ar e buried in. Does anyone know?. I have other names of people that married into the family, HUDSPETH, CREEL for just a couple. [><] will be more than willing to share what I have.

Micager PAULK (b 1848 GA) m 1878 Jackson Co FL, Emily Susan GRANTHAM (b 1855 AL). They had the following children in Henry Co, AL: Hattie R (Etta) 1878; Melton 1882; Maggie 1885; Franklin 1887; Mattie (Ada) 1889; Elizabeth 1892; Annie 1897; Edward 1900. The children all eventually moved to FL, but I don't think the parents did.

In 1860 Caroline THOMAS age 32 is in Henry Co. next to Harriet ANSLEY and family, including Eliza, age 10. Where are Caroline's brothers William, Marion, Augustus, Lafayette, and Elijah, and sisters Katherine and Jane, and where were they in 1850 and 1870? I do not have their ages.

George KEITH, Henry county Register of 30 May1873 has article saying that in 1816 (before Ala is a state) in that spring Col Robert Irwin, Jarrel Patterson, Edward S Cox, George KEITH,Jonah KEITH and James KEITH crossed the Chattahoochee river at Ft Valey ,GA. The article says James Keith was killed by indians and Jonah KEITH survived and his descendants now live in Geneva county. My question is what happened to George KEITH. Thank you for your help.

I am looking for info on Oscar P Green and his wife Martha S.Green who owned a dry-goods/clothing store in Dothan Al. in the 1920's and before most likely. They had one son named Benjamin Francis Green who would later marry Ms. Pearla MCALLISTER of Ft. Gaines, Ga. I believe that Oscar's mother was named Relie and that Ira and Relie had sons named Oscar, Hardy, Martin and Alva. This info comes from a census. Oscar and Martha are buried in a Dothan cemetary and have no grave markers. Their son Benjamin who died in Miami in 1946 is also buried in Dothan, no grave marker. I believe Oscar's wife Martha's maiden name was SALLIE from Valdosta.

He lived near Hillardsville btwn 1850-1870, moved to Rusk Co. TX. abt 1871-1872.Moved again to Wood Co. TX. prior to 1880 where he passed away due to complications from smallpox. Buried in unmarked grave in Big Sandy Creek Bottom.
