My GGGGrandfather John A. CHUMNEY moved to Henry County circa 1820 from North Carolina. He married Millie WATTS on 8/3/1825 in Henry County, and after Millie's death, he married Nancy EVANS on 12/28/1844. The John A. Chumney family was recorded in the 1830,1840,and 1850 US census for Henry County. Any information on John A. Chumney would be appreciated. I have been unable to trace his roots back in North Carolina, but would dearly love to.

Searching for descendants of D Y CULBRETH. His family was listed in the 1900 Henry Co. census. He was born Dec 1844, married Laura Ester RILEY. Both were born in GA. Children were Marcelus, Zebedee, Robert Lee, Jessie, Jake, Frances, Jonah, Tullie, Ella J, Elizabeth P, and Lilas M. Searching for the burial place of Nancy LYNN, b. c1814 and d. between 1856-1858, possibly died in childbirth. Wife of Solomon BARBER. Children were Susan b. 1836, Joseph M. b. 1838, Mary Ann b 1842, William b. 1842 and Charles Monroe b. 1856. Some of the Lynns and Barbers were was living in Henry CO, AL in 1860 and 1870. They moved back and forth between Gadsden CO, FL, Henry CO. AL, and Decatur CO, GA. Solomon Barber m. Susan LYNN 2nd. She was sister of Nancy. Thanks.

Seeking info on Duncan T. MCINTYRE, born March 1831 and wife, Malinda DAVIS born 2 May 1840 in Troy, AL. They resided in Henry County from 1870 and later Houston County. Malinda's father was Wesley DAVIS, listed on the 1855 state census in Henry County. He died in 1857 in Eufaula, AL. Also, seek info on George WATERS and wife Francis. Lived between Ashford and Headland in 1890's and had seven daughters.

I am looking for information on the parents and siblings of Benjamin WORRELL. He and his family were in Henry Co. for the 1860 census. His wife was Martha Catherine. He was killed at Peachtree Creek during the battle for Atlanta. His widow and family were in Thomas Co., Ga. after the war.
