This book is the 1860 Dale County Census [which includes part of Houston and Henry counties] by household with notes on many of the families. The beginning of the book is a short history of the area, Indian trouble, CSA information and etc. up to the taking of the census. The book has two (2) indexes; one for the head of households and separate families, the other for household notes and a few maps.
