Register Family Cemetery
                                Madrid
Located South of Dothan off US HWY 231 South. From Ross Clark Circle take
 US 231 South about 12 miles then right on Sonny Mixon Rd. 2 miles.
Cemetery on the left at a junction with a dirt Rd. The cemetery is in a
wooded area and hard to see. It is in bad shape and all the stones are gone

        "Brack", Archibald, Ellas Raymond "Bud" and one more. Daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth
        (Clark) Hughes. Married Jun 14, 1953

                                        REGT CSA. On back of stone:
        Elias Register husband of Tempa Hughes Register died of disease on Sept 13, 1861 while
        in the service of the CSA. He is buried in an unmarked grave near Fairfax Virginia.

        There appear to be more graves in this cemetery but all the stones are missing.
        There are depresions inthe ground that look like they might be from graves or where
        stones have sat in the past. There are piesces of stone scattered around
    
        but none are readable.
