Henry Francis Hayles b. AL married Lucretia Marrs b. AL (some records list her as Lucinda) 1837 in Lauderdale Co. AL, moved to Yalobusha Co. AL list 3 other female MARRS, Minerva Marrs md Charles Wilks 1834, Melvina Marrs md Jesse Dison (Dixon?) 1834, and Nancy E.
Marrs md Phillip W. I am researching the ADAMS family of Lauderdale Co., AL.  David Adams b. ca 1797 in TN m. (1) Betsy Fielder (2) Vicy/Dicy Haines/Webb.  It's possible that Vicy maiden name was Webb.  Had married a Haines and then married
David Adams.  David was a miller along Bumpass Creek just before the Civil War.  His children were Betty Elizabeth, James, Jesse, Silvester, John H., Ruben, Elisha, Josephus, Isibilla, Nancy, Henry, David, Tennessee and L.Sallie.  The children started migrating to AR just before the Civil War.  Most all the family had moved there by 1880.  I would like to share information with anyone that is also researching this family.  My direct ancestor is Silvester, also known as Sill Vesta.  My co-researcher's ancestor is John H.   We have a picture we'd copy of the siblings.

I am looking for information about the Stumpe family.  I believe 5 brothers emigrated from Germany in around 1872, with some settling in the Ohio region, some in Missouri, and some in Alabama or so the folklore goes.  I have been told 3 of the brother's names were Henry,  George, and Clarence.  A fourth brother may have been Mathias.  I am aware the family names is still around in these areas.  Can anyone help me in finding out more info on this name?
