BOOTH CEMETERY

William Q. Hill surveyed this cemetery in 1969. This Cemetery is located on the Property of Cecil Thigpen, on County Road 31, in Center Star. You have to go through Cecil's property out into the woods, and it can not be seen from any roads. It is covered with briars, and is in a heavily wooded area. Cecil's Grandson, Jeffery Price, and Granddaughters, Audrey and Katie Murks, took me to this Cemetery. There are only three graves, all with the surname Booth.

BOOTH Mary died June 14, 1867

BOOTH Caroline E. A. Dau of N. & M. Booth died June 12, 1850

BOOTH Harriet J. died May 9, 1871

Nathan Booth married Mary Shelby November 2, 1822 Lauderdale County, Alabama
Mary Booth is a widow on the 1850 census. She is listed as 55 born SC.
Harriet is listed as age 22. Also a daughter named Catherine age 21.
Harriet is listed on the 1870 census. She is single age 42.
