PERKINS CEMETERY

To reach this cemetery, turn left off AL 20 (Savannah Highway), onto Lauderdale 14 (Waterloo Road); go 10.3 miles, turn left on Lauderdale 6; go 0.8 mile, then turn right on a paved road; go 1.3 mile. The cemetery is on the left side of the road in a clump of trees. You will have to cross over a barb wire fence and walk 60 yards east. The two tombstones that are here are probably not in their original place. There are about 15 holes here that have no markers that may be graves. Mr. Perkins, who owns this land, bought it from Tommy Irions. The legal description is SW4, NW4, Sec 26, T2S, R13W.
