Deed Book 26, page 351 - Lauderdale County, AL

This indenture made and entered into this 28th day of January 1874 by
and between Jas. H. Haynes & his wife Nancy Haynes of the first part &
O. P. Tucker of the Second part all of the County of Lauderdale & State
of Alabama. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Two
hundred & fifty five Dollars paid by the Second part of the Party into
the hands of the 1st part of the party. The receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, they have bargained Sold and Conveyed, and by these
presents, doth bargain Sell and Convey to the party of the Second part
and his assigns forever, a Lot & Store house in the town of Waterloo
County & State aforesaid. Fronting thirty feet on the east Side of Main
Street adjoining to and lying North of a Lot Owned by Long & Waters &
Running back to the land owned by Mrs. A.B. Lansford.
To have and to hold the aforesaid Lot with the appurtenances thereunto
belonging to him the Said A.P. Tucker and his assigns forever and it is
further C[___] and agreed between the aforesaid parties, that the party
of the 1st part will warrant & forever depend the right & title to the
Said O.P. Tucker against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever
Lawfully claiming the Same. In testimony whereof the party of the first
part have herewith Set their hands & affixed their Seals the day above
written.

Before me Joe Mcmurry an acting Justice of the Peace in & for Said
County and State personally appeared James H & his wife Nancy
Haynes who acknowledged that they Signed the foregoing for all the
interests and purposes therein Set forth on the day the Same bears date.
Witness My hand this the 28th day of January 1874.
