Death of a Prominent East Lauderdale Citizen.

...We are sorry to report the death of our friend, Esquire James Whitehead, which occurred last Wednesday. He had been in declining health for some time. He leaves a wife, a number of children, grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. He will be greatly missed, as he had been magistrate quite a number of years and filled the office with credit.
