AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L
Topic: A mailing list for anyone desiring a check of this state's census records for their ancestors. Requests should be as specific as possible and include county name, specific family of interest, and year whenever possible. In addition, those who own or have access to census records and are willing to do lookups are asked to subscribe and assist in responding to queries.
For questions about this list, contact the list administrator at AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-admin@rootsweb.com.
- Subscribing. Clicking on one of the shortcut links below should work, but if your browser doesn't understand them, try these manual instructions: to join AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L, send mail to AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word subscribe in the message subject and body. To join AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D, do the same thing with AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D-request@rootsweb.com.
- Unsubscribing. To leave AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L, send mail to AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word unsubscribe in the message subject and body. To leave AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D, do the same thing with AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-D-request@rootsweb.com.
- Archives. You can search the archives for a specific message or browse them, going from one message to another. Some list archives are not available; if there is a link here to an archive but the link doesn't work, it probably just means that no messages have been posted to that list yet.
Send Comments about this Montgomery County site to Carolyn Golowka I do not live in Alabama so I am unable to help with your personal research questions. All the information I know about Montgomery County is posted promptly on this site. Please visit the "Research Resources" section of this site. I would suggest that if you don't find the information your looking for here, that you join the email list and post your question on the query board. The more places you ask the question, the better your chances of getting an answer. |
