Funeral Services for John Walter Turner 69 of Decarur were conducted at 3
p.m.today at 16th.Ave Baptist Church with the Rev.Padgett C.Cope
officiating.Burial was to be in City Cemetery,brown Funeral Home directing.
Mr.Turner died saturday at 5;30 p.m.in Nungester Clinic.He was a retired textile
worker ana a Vetern of World War 1. He is survived by his widow Henreitta Turner
Decatur,three daughter's,Mrs,Grady Teague of Florence,Al.,Nrs.June Neely of
Nansville,OH. Mrs.Paul Synder of Plainsville,OH,four son's, Newell Turner of
Cullman,Al.,Delmon Turner of Decatur,Al.,J.E.& J.W. Turner both of
Plainsville,OH.three brother's,Harvey Turner of Gadsden,Al.,Mathis Turner of
Brooksville,Al., and Jess Turner of Somerville,Al.,and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Luther Warren,Curtis Kelly,Euin Mills,Edward
Blakenship,Charles Bussey & Charles Slaten.
