MIKE WHITE ILLNESS VICTIM

Mike White, widely known Hartselle citizen, died at 3 o'clock Wednesday morning at his home after a prolonged illness. Mr White, a native of Rome, Italy, was 80 years of age.

Funeral rites will be conducted at 3:30 Thursday afternoon at Bethel, near Hartselle, by Rev. T. T. Sharp, Rev. Frank T. Smith and Rev. J. D. McClanahan. Burial in Bethel Cemetery will be directed by Brown of Decatur. The procession will leave the home at 2:45.

Mr White is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs Ed McClanahan, Mrs J. D. Crutchfield, Mrs Sam Ashworth, Hartselle; three sons, Arthur, Bawzell and William White, all of Hartselle; 28 grandchildren, including Misses Stella and Willie Maud Crutchfield, who are attaches of the probate office here. Five great-grandchildren also survive.

The following will be pallbearers: John Houston, Dr. W. G. Winfrey, L. S. Echols, C. T. Stephenson, Eric Howell and Jesse Kyle.

Mr White came to America from Italy 60 years ago. He was well known in every part of the county.
