SERVICES CONDUCTED FOR HUSBAND, WIFE

Joint graveside funeral services for Jerre Allen Baker, 34, and wife, Elsie Eloise Engle Baker, 48, of Aline Route 1 were conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery at Somerville. Usery Funeral Home of Talladega was in charge.

The couple died at their Talledega County home Sunday afternoon.

Mrs Baker was a native of Morgan County, a member of the Church of Christ and had resided in Talladega County for the past four years.

Mr Baker was a native of Auburn, a member of the First Baptist Church there and was employed with the Barber Dairy Association.

Her survivors include one daughter, Mrs Angelina Stratacas of Alpine; and a brother James A. Engle of Opelika.

Surviving Mr Baker are one daughter, Miss Elaine Baker of Auburn; one son, Tommy Baker of Auburn; mother Mrs Dessie Griggs of Anniston; two sisters Mrs Joyce Hayes of Anniston and Mrs Doris Johnson of Birmingham; and one brother Louie E. Brown of Kalamazoo, Mich.
