BUFORD J. BENTLEY

Funeral services for Buford J. Bentley, 72, Bethel Rd., Hartselle, who died Friday, January 21, at a local hospital, were Sunday, January 23, at 2:30 p.m. at Hartselle First Baptist Church, Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Peck directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Donnia Bentley, Hartselle; one daughter, Mrs Marilyn Dobson, Homer, Alaska; one son, Gary Bentley, Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs Bernice Sanders, Mrs Elsie Roan, Mrs Nadine Dunnaway and Mrs Gladys Drake, all of Decatur; two brothers, Albert Bentley, Jack Bentley, both of Decatur.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Mr Bentley was a veteran of World War II and a member of Hartselle First Baptist Church. He was a barber on West Main Street for 54 years, owner of Bentley's Barber Shop.
