Funeral for Thomas Eugene Breeding, 70, of Decatur will be Thursday, January 7,
at 1:00 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Smothers
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home
directing. Mr. Breeding died Tuesday, January 5, 1999 at Hartselle Medical
Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a retired auto mechanic. He was a
U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by two sons, Dan E. Breeding
and John Breeding, both of Somerville; two daughters, Jo Rhe Taylor of
Somerville and Rita Burden of Hartselle; one brother, Cois Breeding of
Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Avery Murphy of Birmingham and Ruth Weaver of Eva;
seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
