FREDERIC H. COMPTON

Hartselle - Frederic Holland Compton, 65, died in Montgomery Monday at 8 p.m.

Services will be held at Peck Funeral Home Chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. Charles Stidham is to officiate. Pallbearers are to be Guy Walker, Monroe Bowling, Claude Compton, Howard, Buford and Harvey Curry.

Burial is to be in Curry cemetery in East Morgan County with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include four daughters, Miss Mary E. Compton, Del Rio, Tex., Mrs. J. W. Elliott, Imperial Beach, Calif., Mrs. Margaret Tidwell, Huntsville, and Mrs. Telete Gibson, Hartselle; three sons, Donald E. and Holland L. Compton, both of Norfolk, Va., and Robert W. Compton of Japan; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. E. E. Simpson, Hartselle 1, Mrs. Ellen Eddy, Birmingham, Mrs. W. O. Fowler, Somerville 3, Mrs. Ed McIntire, Nashville, and Miss Ruth Compton, Somerville 2; two brothers, Millard Compton, Decatur, and Paul L. Compton, Tuscaloosa.
