Hartselle - Funeral for Ruth Dean, 83, of Glennwood Convalescent Center, Florence, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs Dean died Saturday in Florence. She was born Ruth Walker on June 21, 1910, in Cullman.

She is survived by one son, James A. Dean of San Francisco; two daughters, Jesma D. Yerbey of Florence and Fannie D. Cummings of Huntsville; one sister, Virginia Ekelund of Atwater, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
