WILLIAM LEO "Bill" FORD

Funeral for William Leo "Bill" Ford, 79, of Anderson, S. C. was Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ryan Childers officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Hartselle.

Mr. Ford died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Lee County, to Jesse R. Ford and Mattie Lee Weeks Ford.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Ford of Anderson, S. C.; a son, Jonathan Ford of Hartselle; a daughter, Shelia Ward of Hartselle; three step-daughters, Peggy Langley and Rebecca Miller, both of Hartselle and Deborah Busby of Anderson, S. C.; a brother, Jack Ford of Phenix City; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family members.
