ANDREW GRIFFITH PASSES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS

Andrew J. Griffith, age 64, died at his home on Hartselle Route 1, at 12:30 Friday after a few days illness with pneumonia. Mr Griffith had been in ill health for the past year suffering a prolonged malarial attack and the pneumonia proved fatal after a few days duration.

The deceased is survived by one son, M. R. Griffith, of Hartselle R. 2.

Funeral services were held at Bethel church Saturday morning at 11:00 o'clock with the Rev. John D. McClanahan conducting the services. Interment followed in the Bethel cemetery with Peck directing.

Mr Griffith was a member of the Baptist church.
