ARTHUR E. GRIFFIN DIED ON FRIDAY MORNING

Arthur E. Griffin, 46, a former Decatur resident who has been making his home at Tarrant City for some time, died at 10:30 Friday morning at Jefferson County
Hospital in Birmingham after a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Bethel, by Rev. Frank T. Smith, with McAfee, Howell and Young in charge of burial.

Surviving are the widow; a son, A. C. Griffin of Tarrant City; the parents Mr. and Mrs. J. J . Griffin; three brothers; four sisters and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Cecil Davis, J. P. Luker, W. C. Stone, Neel Newsom, Ben Weems and
A. B. Dupree.
