AUBY C. GRIFFIN
85, retired farmer

Cullman - Graveside service for Auby C. Griffin, 85, of Falkville was to be today at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Hartselle, with the Rev. Archie Rayburn officiating and Moss-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Griffin died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at home. He was born May 10, 1914, in Cullman County to Arthur and Aner Lee Waugh Griffin. He was a retired farmer and grandfather of the late Linda Hatcher.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel Griffin; one son, Billy Dean "Bill" Griffin of Simi Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Betty Eugene Haley of Gardendale, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
