Funeral for John Garner, 72, of Tanner was to be today at 1 p.m. at Sharpley Funeral Home with the Rev. Willie Brown officiating.

Burial was to be in Garner Cemetery in Hartselle.

Mr. Garner died Thursday at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Limestone County.
