85, retired laborer

Funeral for Leroy Glass, 85, of 509 McGaugh St., Hartselle, will be Thursday at noon at Sharpley Funeral Home with the Rev. Madison Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Garner Cemetery in Somerville.

Mr Glass died Thursday at Huntsville Hospital. He was born April 12, 1909, in Morgan County.

He was a retired laborer and a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Woody; two brothers, Spencer Glass of Hartselle and Bruce Glass of Portland, Ore.; and three sisters, Lillie Bell Wiggins of Nashville and Lorene Marshall and Lillian Lucille Glass, both of Portland.
