Funeral for Gayle Grantland, 59, of Hartselle, will be Friday, May 5, 2006, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson, the Rev. Robert Sparkman and the Rev. Gary Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs Grantland, who died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Crestwood Hospital, was born Dec 4, 1946, in Morgan County to Herman Bud Johnson and Dorothy Roberts Johnson. She worked as a cashier at Hometown Grocery in Hartselle. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Grantland; one son, Shawn Johnston of Somerville; one daughter, Erika Kilgore of Somerville; and three grandchildren.
