Well Known Woman Dies

Funeral rites for Mrs Margaret Rebecca Grantland, 57, who died at 3:15 Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, E. C. Grantland, 1503 6th Avenue South, were conducted at 3 p.m. today at Antioch. Rev. W. L. Spearman and Rev R. L. McDonald officiated. Drinkard-Howell directed burial.

Survivors include the husband, Thomas R. Grantland; five sons, E. C., A. B. and Cecil Grantland, Decatur; Cliff Grantland, Hawaiian Islands; T. R. Grantland, Jr., Somerville Route 3; three daughters, Mrs Macie Thorson, Mrs Annie Johnson, Somerville Route 3; Mrs Aline Green, Lacey's Spring; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs S. C. Thompson and Miss Pearl Kyle, of Decatur.

Nephews were pallbearers and the Service Class of Ninth Street Methodist Church had charge of flowers.
