J. J. GRIFFIN DIES AT HOME

Funeral services for J. J. Griffin, 73, who died at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at his home, Hartselle 3, will be conducted by Rev. Walker Bynum at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Bethel church near Hartselle. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery with Peck directing.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs Ruby Lackey, Tuscumbia; Mrs Boyd Bentley, Hartselle 3 and Mrs C. W. Isley, Peninsula, Ohio; three sons, Cecil Griffin, Hartselle 3; Roy Griffin, Hartselle 4 and Floyd Griffin, Loraine, Texas; one sister, Mrs John Lynch, Hartselle 4; 31 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Boyd Bentley, I. H. Lackey, Ed Couey, Clint Isley, Auby Griffin and Alvin Griffin.
