FUNERAL FOR MATTIE LOU GRIFFIN HELD FRIDAY

Mrs. Mattie Lou Griffin, age 72, passed away at the
residence of her son, Roy Griffin, in Decatur, on December 17.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Isley, Penensula, Ohio; Mrs. I. H. Lackey, Tuscumbia, Ala.; Mrs. Christine Bentley, Decatur; three sons Roy Griffin,
Decatur; Cecil Griffin, Hartselle; Floyd Griffin, Sweetwater, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Eula Tunstill, Ft Worth, Texas; two brothers; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Services were at Bethel Baptist Church Friday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. F. T.Smith, Peck directing.

Interment was at the adjoining cemetery at Bethel Church with Peck directing.
