MILDRED CHRISTINE GRIFFIN

Funeral services for Mildred Christine Griffin, 72, of Somerville Route Four were conducted Friday, March 18, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel in Hartselle with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs Griffin died Wednesday, March 16, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Austinville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Lamar Griffin of Somerville Route Four; four sons, Glenn Griffin of Simi Valley, Calif., and Rickie Griffin, Richie Griffin and Jackie Griffin, all of Somerville; one daughter, Diann Gardner of Cullman; two brothers, Oscar Cartee of Decatur and Ottis Cartee of Cullman; two sisters, Ovella Carpenter of Cullman and Jewell Griffin of Falkville; and six grandchildren.

Friends and relatives were pallbearers.
