Funeral for Mary Alice Harvel, 71, of Hartselle was Sunday, August 3, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Bishop and James Schrimsher officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.

Ms. Harvel died Friday, August 1, 1997, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was retired from SouthTrust Bank, formerly Citizens Bank, in Hartselle after 40 years.

She is survived by one sister, Margaret Sharrott of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were William (Bo) Johnson, Frank Waddle, Lloyd McAbee, Millard Hall, Bud Lucas and Kenneth Sharrott, Jr.
