Funeral for Irene Winton Jones, 81, of Somerville will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Center Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. W.L. Cole officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones died Sunday, January 17, 1999 at Huntsville Hospital East. She was born September 5, 1917 in Morgan County to Zack and Buna Vester Winton. She was a housekeeper at the former Hartselle Hospital and was a member of the Center Springs United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Kendall G. Jones of Somerville; one daughter, Frankie Rhoden of Somerville; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tommy Luker, Gary Dobbs, Robert Freeman, Anthony Winton, B.J. Winton, and I.C. Winton.
