HARTSELLE - Funeral for James Inman Yarbrough, 74, of 416 Pine St. will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle with the Rev. Clinton Busler and the Rev. Em Barnes Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Hartselle City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. Mr. Yarbrough died Saturday at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he served on the administrative board and as a church trustee. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an instructor at Calhoun Community College for 37 years and he owned a retail business in Hartselle for 35 years. Memorials should be sent to First United Methodist Church in Hartselle. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Yarbrough; two sons, Charles I Yarbrough and James E. Yarbrough, both of Hartselle; a brother, Edward Bayne Yarbrough of Decatur; three sisters, Margaret Ann Fieger, Mary Evelyn Donham and Betty Fieger, all of Decatur, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sim Howell Jr., James Taylor, Horace Broom, Robert Stephenson, Howard Fowler and Dr. W. C. Duncan.
