WELL KNOWN ALBANY WOMAN WILL BE BURIED TOMORROW.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Mrs. W. G.
Young, well known resident of Tenth Avenue, West Albany, who died suddenly last
night at 6:30 o'clock. Mrs. Young, had she lived but a few days more, would have
been 70 years of age. She had been ill sometime, but yesterday appeared to be
much improved and was sitting up in bed talking to her son, Frank when she
suddenly complained of feeling faint and died before medical aid could reach
her. Rev. H. M. Stevenson, pastor of the First Methodist church, Decatur, of
which Mrs. Young was a member, will conduct the funeral services to- morrow
afternoon from the residence. Interment will be made at Oakwood cemetery here.
The pallbearers will be: Sam Foster, Collins Brown, W. R. Lewis, C. C.
Robertson, Z. Thimble and Frank Chandler. Besides her husband and three sons,
Frank, Gardener and Raymond, Mrs. Young is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John
Nolen, of Prospect, Tenn.; Mrs. Mary Thomas, of Texas; one brother, Kit
Scroggins, of Texas; two nieces, Mrs. W. L. Hatchett and Mrs. H. W. Chandler, of
Albany.
