Located approximately 2/10 mile off Shelby County Highway 42 in front of the Shelby Iron Works Park.

In August 2004 "Old Shelby Iron Works Cemetery" was favorably reviewed and listed on the
"Alabama Historic Cemetery Register" with The Alabama Historical Commission.
Also, it is on the "Alabama Cemetery Register" with The Alabama Cemetery Preservation Alliance.
