Additional Notes:Approximately 46 unmarked graves, some marked with only two stones, one for the head and one for the foot, and some are depressions in the ground.

Shelby County Advocate, July 18, 1901, "Mrs. England, wife of A.J. England was buried Monday afternoon at the Salser Cemetery."

Shelby County Advocate, April 1, 1915, "W.C. Blackerby died at his home in East Saginaw last Friday after an illness of several months, aged 64 years. He is survived by seven children, seven grand children and one brother, and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 27th, by Rev. Beddingfield, after which interment was made in the Salser cemetery near East Saginaw. His loving brother, Dan Blackerby."

Shelby County Advocate, September 12, 1912, "Mr. D.L. Salser died at his home in beat 8 on Aug. 22 … The funeral service was conduced by Rev. J.E. Hodgens and his remains were laid to rest in the Salser Cemetery."

From records at the Shelby County Historical Society: (1) Effie Salser died Dec. 17, 1911, age 32, father, Dan Miller, mother Susan Miller. Buried in Salser Cemetery. (2) Elizabeth Salser died June 31, 1914, age 16, father E.B. Salser, mother Mrs. E.B. Salser. Buried in Salser Cemetery.
