Probate Court Special Term March 20, 1851

The Estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased

This day came J. Eades Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon Administrators of Thomas Blackmon, Deceased and filed certain receipts in full for decrees rendered against – as such Administrators Also for the Negro property to which the heirs were entitled. It is therefore ordered that said Decrees be satisfied and that they be spread upon the Minutes. Said receipts are in words and Figures following to wit:

  1. Received of J. E. Gullette and B. F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, one negro man named Adam valued at one thousand dollars, it being my share of the personal property of said estate of Thomas Blackmon upon final settlement and division. January 9, 1851 Signed J. W. Blackmon
     
  2. Received of J. E. Gullette and B. F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, two negro women named as follows viz Harriet and Esther being in full of my share of the personal property of said estate upon final settlement and division of said estate. January 9, 1951 W. M. Blackmon
     
  3. Received of J. E. Gullette and B. F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, the sum of two thousand one hundred and sixteen dollars and 35 cents being in full for a decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County on the 7th day of January 1851 against the aid J. E. Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon as such Administrators on a final settlement of the estate of Thomas Blackmon deceased. January 9, 1851 S. G. Grayson
     
  4. Received of J. E. Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, one negro girl named Margaret being in full for my share of the personal property of said estate upon final settlement and division. January 9, 1851 S. G. Grayson
     
  5. Received of J. Eades Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, the sum of two hundred and sixty six and 35/100 dollars being in full for a decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County on the 7th day of January 1851 against the said J. Eades Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon as such Administrators on a final settlement of said estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased in Camden. January 9, 1851 D. L. Blackmon

Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, the sum of two hundred and sixty six 35/100 dollars being in full for a decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County on the 7th day of January 1851 again the said J. Eades Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon as such Administrators on a final settlement of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased. Camden January 9, 1951 William M. Blackmon

Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased the sum of one hundred and sixteen 35/100 dollars being in full for a decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County in the 7th day of January 1851 against the said J. E. Gullett and Benjamin F. Blackmon as such Administrators for final settlement of the estate of Thomas Blackmon. Camden January 9, 1851 J. W. Blackmon

Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased the sum of one thousand and sixty two 96/100 dollars being in full for a decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County on the 7th day of January 1851 against J. Eades Gullett and B. F. Blackmon as such Administrators on a final settlement of the estate of Thomas Blackmon. Camden January 20, 1851 E. A. Blackmon
     
  9. Received of J. E. Gullett and B. F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon deceased four Negroes, Nanuby (or Nanieby), Mr Daniel, Kitty, and Josh it being my full share of the personal property of said estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased upon final settlement and division of said estate. Blackmon Administrators of Estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, the sum of two thousand two hundred and sixty six dollars and 35/100 dollars being in full for decree rendered in the Probate Court of Wilcox County on the 7th day of January 1851 against the said J. Eades Gullett and B. F. Blackmon as such Administrators on the final settlement of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased. January 20, 1851 R. H. Ervin, guardian for Emma T. Blackmon
     
  11. Received of J. Eades Gullett and B. F. Blackmon Administrators of the estate of Thomas Blackmon, deceased, the following Negroes viz Balaam, Jack, Agga, Lizza, Isaac, Lewis, and Jack, it being the share of Emma T. Blackmon of the personal property of the estate of Thomas Blackmon upon final settlement and division of said estate among the heirs on January 8, 1851. R. H. Ervin, guardian for E. T. Blackmon
