Ervin CEMETERY
Wilcox County, Alabama

Compiled by Major Robert Tait Ervin, III, March 29, 1976

Cemetery is located on the Old Ervin Plantation. Graves of Ervins, and others, date back to the mid 1800's.

Location: Go West from Camden on AL Hwy 10. Continue West on AL Hwy 10 past the intersection of AL Hwy 221. Several miles further Wilcox County Road intersects with AL Hwy 10. There is a store at this intersection named Possum Bend. Possum Bend and Rockwest are the names for this community. Take County Road 33 for several miles. You will come to the Old Ervin Plantation on the right with 965 County Highway 33 on the mail box. The Ervin Cemetery is located on the gravel road which goes west along the north side of the Plantation and before you get to the mail box. Go west for about a mile and the unmarked cemetery is on the left. If you have diffi- culty finding it ask a neighbor for directions.
