In the name of God amen I Isaac Mixon do make and declare that my last Will
and testasment in the manner and form following. First I resign my Sole
into the hands of Almighty God hoping and believing in a recission of my
sins by the ** and meditations of Jesus Christ, and my body I consent to
earth to be buried at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named.

1. I hereby give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Clarissa Mixon one half
of my real estate and personal property during her natural life and at her
death to dispose of it as she may think proper.

2. I give and bequeath to my daughter Fereby Ann Mixon and the heirs of her
body one half of real estate and personal property which my Executor will
pay over to my daughter Fereby Ann Mixon at the age of Twenty one years old
or sooner if she should Mary Provided nevertheless if my daughter Fereby
Ann Mixon should die before she arrives at the age of Twenty one, and
leaving no bodily heirs of her boddy behinde to heir her estate. It is my
will and desire that as much of my estate that I give to my daughter Fereby
Ann Mixon both real estate & personal property should be returned or
retained in the hands of my beloved wife Clarisa Mixon to be disposed of as
she may think proper at her death.

3. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath
unto my Nephew Jasper C. Mixon one thousand dollars to be paid to him by my
executors in two payments the first payment to be five hundred dollars to
be paid at the term of ten years & the other five hundred dollars at the
term of Twelve years.

4. I give to my friend Miss Elizabeth Cravens five hundred dollars to be
paid to her by my executors at the term of seven years.

5. It is my will and desire that my beloved wife Clarisa Mixon should
remain in possession of my real estate and personal property during her
natural life and and to use and make use of it as she may think proper and
keep it all together on my plantation where I now live.

6. It is my will and desire that my executors should administer and carry
out my will without giving bond to the orphans court of said County.

And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Clarisa Mixon
and my trusty friend Isaac Hestle Executors of this my last will &
Testament hereby revoking all others or former wills or testament by me
heretofore made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & afiixed my seal this 2nd
day of May AD 1853.

Signed as ** published & declared as & for my last will & testament of this

Wilcox Probate Court Special Term Febry 18 1856

Jonathan Hazel One of the Subscribing Witness to the foregoing will of
Isaac Mixon did presumably appear in open court ** after being duly sworn
say on oath that the foregoing is the last will & testament of Isaac Mixon
Signator ** and heard him declare that it was his last will and Testament.
That he together with Robert Thompson the other Subscribing witness, on the
day of the Execution of said will to wit the 2nd day of May 1853. Signed
their names as witness thereto in the presence and at the request of the
said Isaac Mixon. That at the time of the signing publishing and declaring
the same by the said Isaac Mixon to be his last will and Testament he was
of sound and disposing mind & memory and over the age of Twenty one years
and that said will was executed in Wilcox County Ala.
