I Samuel Young of the county and state aforesaid being of sound and disposing mind do make & execute this my last will and testament. To wit, I do give to my daughter Mary A. Black the sum of one thousand Dollars which sum is to be paid to her by my executors one year after my death. I do give to the children of my daughter Eliza Pressly the sum of five hundred Dollars each, said sum to remain in the hands of my Executors without interest until said children become of age. I give to the children of my son Wm L. Young one hundred Dollars each said sum to be held as above until they become of age. I do give to the son of my son S.O. Young the sum of one thousand Dollars said sum to be held by my executors without interest until he becomes of age. i further give to the son of S.O. Young the further sum of five hundred Dollars to be applied to his education said education to be received at Erskine College South Carolina.

I also give to my son R.C. Young Eighty acres of land lying on Pine barren and East of the John Corry land.

I give to my son James M. Young a girl Harriett with her increase.

I give to my son John C. Young a negro Girl Bet with her increase.

It is further my will & desire that all the property heretofore given to any of my children shall be and remain in their hands and shall not be considered a part of my Estate.

All the remainder of my property both real and personal not heretofore mentioned and of which I may die [] and possessed of I wish to be equally divided between my children or their heirs hereinafter named (To wit) John C. Young, James M. Young, Robert C. Young, Catherine J. Bonham, Sarah Jane Bonner and Martha A. Smith. It is my will if my lands cannot be equally divided without sales that my executors sell the same with out any order of Court. I do not wish my negroes to be sold but divided. I do hereby appoint John C. Young and Robert C. Young executors of this my last will and testament Given unto my Hand and Seal this 5th day of July AD 1855.

Estate of Samuel Young decd. Thos G Jenkins Wiley F. Slade & J.J. Kirsey the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will of Samuel Young decd late of Wilcox County Ala personally appeared in open Court who after being duly sworn say on oath that the foregoing is the last will & Testament of Samuel Young deceased & for as they [] or believe that they witness said Samuel Young sign the same and heard him declare that it was his last will & testament
That on the day of the execution of said will to wit the 5th day of July 1855 [] signed [] [] as witnessed in the presence of [] [] the [] of [] said Samuel Young
That at the time of signing publishing & declaring the same by the said Samuel Young to be his last will & testament he was of sound and disposing mind & memory and over the age of Twenty one years and that said will was Executed in Wilcox County Ala
