Green had one son, John, born 1838 in Al. Child was born the same year his father died. Joseph and Jane had 5 children: Mary Agnes, born in 1846; Franklin, born in 1849 (according to information I was given, Franklin died at about 3 years of age); George Monroe (my great-grandfather), born in 1851; Mary J.S., born in 1853; Irena Y. Reply to: Mark Goin, MGGOIN5@cs.com I'm looking for my great grandmother whose name was
"Grandma Sue". Her birth is estimated to be about 1850. She had at least
two children. One's
name was William Cosby who eventually married Pellie Melton of Perryville,
Alabama. His estimated birth is about 1875. He died in Perryville, Alabama
in 1953. She also had another son about 6 years younger named Ben Cosby.
His birth year was 1880/1881. I do not know anything about Ben or William
except that they both worked in Perryville, Alabama. I believe that great
grandmother "Sue lived in Selma, Alabama. I also believe that William and
Ben may have been born in Selma, Alabama.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

1795 in SC; d. 1862 in Dallas County, AL) and his wife, Sarah Parnell
(b. 1800 in Georgia). This couple married in Putnam County, GA, in
1816, and were living in Dallas County, AL, about 1830. Their son Jesse
M. Dennis married his cousin, Mary E. Dennis (daughter of Simeon Dennis
of Hancock, Putnam, and Monroe Counties in Georgia). Jesse M. Dennis

early 1850's. Another son, Joseph M. Dennis, married first Rebecca

Panola County, TX. He remarried to Martha Snelson Heath and about 1859
joined his brother in Columbia County, AR. Other children of William
and Sarah Parnell Dennis include: Margaret (married Lewis Davis);
Daniel (married Piety Belser); Martha (married Henry Averyt); Jeptha

Reply to: Jane Brazell Sisolak, tsisolak@swbell.net I'm researching the family of William H. Sadler/Saddler, born in South
Carolina and died 16 December 1844 in Bogue Chitto, Dallas County, Alabama.
His Wife was Elizabeth (don't have last name), born 1795 in South Carolina,
He had five children listed in the 1860 Alabama Census. They were (1) Nancy
Saddler born 1823 South Carolina, (2) Lucinda Saddler born 1831 South
Carolina who married Robert J. Travers, (3) William H. Saddler, My GG
Grandfather, born 1831/1833 South Carolina, (4) Elizabeth Saddler born 1834
South Carolina and (5) Malachi Saddler born 1838 Bogue Chitto, Dallas County,
Alabama. I believe this family to be related to the Richard Sadler -Rachel
Murphy family of York County South Carolina. However I could be wrong.
William (277) along with an Isaac Saddler (276) are listed in the 1850
Alabama census with Bogue Chitto as the town ship. I have not looked at the
film on this census. Any assistance would be appreciated.
