Bibb County begins on Gov't page #188. The census includes Dwelling Number/Family Number, Name, Age, Sex, Color: w=White, b=Black, m=Mulatto, Occupation, Value of Real Estate/Value of Personal Estate, Place of Birth, (Month) indicates month of marriage for those married within the year and month of birth for those less than one year old, *P=both parents foreign born, *F=Father foreign born and *M =Mother foreign born, (nk) means not known.
Notes on this census: 1. Part of Bibb Co. was taken in 1868 to form Chilton Co.
2. Many people with obviously feminine names (i.e., Mary, Elizabeth) are listed as male.
3. I replaced all state names and abbreviations with current postal abbreviations.
4. The HOLMAN and KINGDOM sections of the microfilm are very difficult to read. I apologize if
there are errors.
