F., 31st Alabama Infantry Regiment. 3rd Lt., James A. Cobb, Commander.
The 31st Alabama Infantry Regiment was organized at Talladega, 16 March 1862,
with men from Calhoun, Cherokee, Montgomery, Randolph, Shelby, and Talladega
counties.
