I john Clark of the State of Alabama $ County of Bibb do make & ordain this my last will and testament
in manner & form as follows towit
1st. I will & direct that sell my just debts shall be fully paid.
2nd. I give & bequeath to Cyrus Clark Fleming my Negro boy Sandy and in case of his death before he
should have any heirs, I give the said boy Sandy jointly to my sisters Ann Fleming and Margaret Clark
for their sole & separate use forever
3rd I give to my niece Martha Fleming a Negro girl called Jinny a daughter of Caroline for her sole &
separate use and to the heirs of her body forever
4th I give to my niece Elizabeth M. Clark my Negro girl Eliza for her sole and separate use & benefit
of herself & the heirs of her body forever
5th I will and bequeath to my ---Marion McLean Clark my boy Abner a son of Caroline & Dariah a daughter
of Jane for the sole & separate use of herself and her heirs forever
6th I give and bequeath to my niece Mary Jane Clark my boy Anderson a son of Caroline; also an infant
a daughter of Caroline named Mary Ann for the sole & separate use of herself & the heirs of her body
forever.
7th The future increase of the above devised female slaves, if there should be any, before the probating
of this instrument shall be owned & belong to the persons to whom the mother is devised.

8th All my real estate together with the residue of my personal property of every kind or description
also any property or interest that may descent or may be now or hereafter coming tome here or elsewhere
I give, devise & bequeath to my brother James Clark and to his heirs forever And I hereby appoint him
my ezecutor of this may last will & testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my (hand) and seal this 16th day of April 1863
