p. 215 - Orphans Ct, May Regular Setting 1844
Robert Parker, adm of estate of John Owens, shows that estate of deceased is unable to pay debts and asked that notice be sent
to parties concerned to show just cause why lands should not be sold. Five heirs: Berry Owens, Daniel Owens, Joseph Mitchell in
right of his wife Nancy, Wright Hinson in right of his wife Elizabeth, B. Roads in right of his wife Tillitha.

You are hereby commanded to cite and notify Berry Owens, Daniel Owens, Joseph Mitchell in Right of his wife Nancy, Right Hinson
in Right of his wife Elizabeth, B. Roads in Right of his wife Telittea? that Robert Parker Sheriff & by virtue of his office
administrator of the Estate of John Owens deceased has filed in the office of the clerk of Bibb County Court his petition praying
the Court to pass an order authorising him to sell the Real Estate belonging to said Estate and the Judge of said court has set
apart the first Monday in June next to here any Reasons which may be offered why said Real Estate should not be sold Where you
and Each of you can attend at the court house in and for said County on the Day above mentioned & share cause if any you have
why said Lands should not be sold according to the prayer of petitioner. Witness Jno W. Suttle Ck of Bibb County Court May the
13th 1844.
