Will Book A, p. 79 State of Alabama Bibb County Know all men by these presents that I Nancey J. Elam of Brent Bibb County Alabama being of Sound mind an disposing memory doth make and publish this my last will and testament
1st I appoint Mr. A. L. Elam executor of this my last will and testament and direct that he serve as such executor of my estate without giving bond.
2nd I direct that all of my just debts be paid.
3rd I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved children Clara Elam, Onroe Elam, Ray Elam and Virgie Elam, share and share alike, all of my property of whatsoever kind or description, personal real and mixed, It being my intention that the above named four children shall hold and own jointly all property personal real or mixed, that I now own or of which I may die seized and possessed and that my father in law Mr. A. L. Elam shall manage and control said property of whatever kind or description for them.
4th Said Executor of my will A. L. Elam is hereby authorized to sell any of said property if necessary to educate or mon [sic] said children, without an order of court-
5th I further request him to look after said children and try and raise them rightÂ
6th Should my Baby survive me, it is to share equally with the other four children But if said Baby should die without issue then said share of said Baby is to revert to my other four children the gift to my Baby is not to vest or to take effect until said Baby is three years of age and if said Baby die before it attains the age of three years it takes no interest or estate in any of my said property
In witness whereof I Nancey J. Elam have, to this my last will and testament subscribed my name, and affixed my seal this the 4th day of June 1908.

Signed sealed and delivered by the said Nancy J. Elam, as her last will and testament, in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other here subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. Attest: W. E. L.
