Maggie L. Belcher, 79, of Brent, died June 28, 1991, at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church in Brent. The Rev. Reuben Compere will officiate with burial in the adjoining cemetery, Rockco Funeral Home directing. Survivors are three sons, Bruce Belcher and Jimmy Belcher, both of Brent, Dawson Belcher, Pascagoula, Miss.; four sisters, Sue Averette, Mobile, Clara Mae Boyles, Annie Lee McMillan and Frances Jones, all of Brent; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be deacons of Bethel Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. (Undated and unidentified newspaper clipping)

CENTREVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Belcher Maxwell, 80, formerly of Northport, who died Thursday at the Bibb Medical Center, will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Northport First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Taylor and the Rev. Stanley Clark will officiate with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park and Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Fred M. (Julia) Hallman, Centreville, and Mrs. George D. (Ruby) Palmer III, Birmingham; a stepson, Howard Hilliard Maxwell Jr., Shelbyville, Ky.; nine grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and other relatives. Mrs. Maxwell was active in church and civic activities in Tuscaloosa County all her life. She was the widow of Howard Hilliard Maxwell Sr. of Northport.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Northport First Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

BELCHER - Centreville - Hazel Pierson Belcher, 85, died Thursday, October 14, 1999, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at 2:30 p.m. at Centreville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Pineland Memorial Cemetery with Rockco's Funeral Home of Centreville directing. Visitation is tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Olon Belcher of Centreville; daughters, Jan Queen of Montgomery and Beverly Scroggins of Tuscaloosa; sons, Olon P. Belcher of California, Brent Belcher and Otha Addie Belcher, both ofCentreville; sister, Freda P. Baker of Birmingham; brother Other A. Pierson of Holt; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Rich Queen, S---(ink is blurred) Scroggins, WillScroggins, Jesse Scroggins, Bill Gates, Malcolm Pierson, Larry Pierson, and Brian Baker. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Judson College, Centreville Baptist Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
