1. JOHN ELLINGTON1 JONES was born September 30, 1842, and died May 03, 1903. He married HARRIET LOGAN, daughter of JOHN LOGAN and LAVENIA MOSELEY. She was born 1849, and died 1925.

Notes for JOHN ELLINGTON JONES:
John Ellington Jones also had a daughter, Anna McKinney (probably buried at Enon) and twin sons, John A. Jones, Sr. and Almon Jones (I think Uncle Almon had a son named Ellington). I don't remember mention of any other children of J. E. Somehow the McKinney who married Anna was also related to my grandmother Mary McKinney Jones. I know that Mary McKinney's father was also named John. Also, the McKinneys and Cates are intermarried.

John A. Jones, Sr. had 4 daughters also: Pauline (married Tommy Lawrence - no children); Evelyn (married Rich Hill--one child, James Hill); Lillie (married John Langston - had a stillborn daughter also buried at Enon and one son - John Meren Langston - may also be buried at Enon); and Frances (married Dan Carroll -- son, Daniel (Jr.?) and Paula Kay--married "Bubba" Carden of Calera).
